About Ellen Adelstein
Ellen Adelstein was the host of a public affairs program in Tucson, Arizona from 1976-1984 on KZAZ-TV. In addition to interviewing Gene Roddenberry, she also interviewed many other great luminaries including Mrs. Anwar Sadat, the late Senator Barry Goldwater, Michael Landon, Danny Thomas and many more. Ellen is an Honor's graduate of the University of Arizona with a degree in Education. In addition to working in public affairs, she has been an active leader in many philanthropic ideas and causes. She is a former social studies teacher, and worked in the Consumer Protection movement. Ellen has three grown children and five grandchildren. She considers this interview with Gene Roddenberry one of her greatest professional accomplishments.
